~LUSH REVIEW~
Hey guys!
Sorry it's been a few weeks since i've posted last! But here's the deal, throughout high school I never bought many LUSH products. The closest store is about an hour away, and I always thought things were a tad overpriced. But, at Christmas my mom went ahead and got me one of their gift boxes which sparked my looooove for their products! One great thing about Lush products is that they are all fresh and made from natural ingredients.PRODUCT 1: Mint Julips Lip Scrub
Okay well I just wanna start off by saying how obsessed I am with this product. It's the perfect exfoliator for chapped (or not) lips. There's three different flavors, mint, bubblegum, and popcorn. I definitely am not a big popcorn person, and the bubblegum was alittle too bubblegum tasting for me, but the Mint is AMAZING. It makes me feel so clean, and breath smell super good (another plus!) I love pairing it with my Palmer Coco Butter Swivel Stick. This product lasts forever since you only need a little to get smooth and soft lips! Honestly, there is not enough good things to say about this product. I totalllllly recommend this productPRICE: $9.95

PRODUCT 2: REFRESHER Shower Jelly
The next product is the REFRESHER Shower Jelly. I have such mixed feelings about this product. I absolutely love the smell of this jelly. It smells so good, I love the tangy, lemony smell of this product which leaves you smelling amazing. The only problem for me is that...it's a jelly. It says to crush a bit of jelly between your hands, or loofa, and wash like normal, but that wasn't the case for me. I found that I lost a lot of unused product fall out of my hands/loofa. The best results from me came from holding some in-between your hands and rubbing them back and forth until you create some 'foamy' soap, then use the soap on your hands to apply to your body. I don't know for sure if they have this same scent in a bar, but if they do i'd definitely get that version instead. Overall, the smell won me over on the product. It smells so fresh and clean, yet I would only purchase again if it was in a bar form.

PRODUCT 3: Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub
This product definitely has a very strong smell to it. I know a lot of people who think this product is way to harsh for their skin, therefore I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who has overly sensitive skin. The smell is a mixture of the beach and lime, w I like how coarse this product is, and how well it works as an exfoliator. This truly softens the skin and takes off any dead skin thats on the surface. I really do like this product, and it helped clear up my skin. Although it is super coarse and strong, it worked well through the winter months and didn't dry out my skin!

PRODUCT 4: D'LUFF Strawberry Shaving Soap
This pink shaving soap had me SO excited! It was so cute, and smelled great. I can't lie though, it wasn't anything special. It was great the first few times, but after that it was just kinda of a normal shaving cream. I have to say that this product works a lot better on the legs than other places of the body (maybe TMI, I don't know.) I don't have too much to say about this product, other than it does last awhile. I probably will not purchase this again because I think I could find better shaving creams at the drug store for a better price.

PRODUCT 5: The Sacred Truth Fresh Face Mask
Okay, last product. Although I haven't been using this mask for super long, I can tell you guys I love it. It makes my skin so soft and bright after I use it. I recommend using it at night before bed, so you can wake up to super soft skin. I was honestly super surprised on how well it worked with just one use. The ingredients in this mask help with aging and brightening the skin. I can't talk much about the aging part, but the brightening ingredients really do work wonders. I've had such dull and tired skin forever, and this mask totally changed that. The smell is totally earthy, but I love it. It's perfect for a night pampering yourself, or before a big event. The only con is that it has a 3 week shelf life due to the fresh ingredients. I don't know how true you have to be to the 'expiration date', but the lady helping me there said that she has kept hers for more than 3 weeks, so who really knows. It is also required to be kept in an refrigerator, but I find that the cold mask feels wonderful on the skin. Also it is not very expensive, compared to other things at LUSH, these are a steal. Some drug store face mask are much more pricey, so I'd rather pay for a great quality, fresh mask. I really do love this mask, and I'm super excited to try out some more fresh face mask.
